Prepare the content file first
PublishDrive supports ebook workflows that accept EPUB and can also convert certain source files. When you already have a validated EPUB, you retain more control over the publication structure that enters distribution.
Treat contributor data carefully
Author, editor, illustrator, translator, and other contributor roles should be entered accurately. Names on the cover and names in metadata should not contradict one another.
Complete the metadata record
Title information, description, categories, keywords, language, rights, pricing, identifiers and other fields form the retail record that travels through the distribution network. Build that record before the upload session.
Plan distribution, not just upload
Aggregators can reach multiple stores and library channels. Decide which territories, stores, pricing, formats, and rights you control before publication so distribution choices are intentional.
